How to Find Free Items on Craigslist to Resell for Profit on eBay

Things You'll Need:

• eBay Account
• Internet Access

1. Go to the website craigslist.org. It is free to use any aspect of Craigslist including placing ads, replying to ads, or just searching and browsing.

2. Choose the city closest to you. There is an individual craigslist site for most major cities in the US and Canada.

3. Look under the FOR SALE section in the middle of the page. There will be a category called FREE. Click on it.

4. Scan through the items to see what is up for grabs. You'll find everything from fire wood, electronics, furniture, clothing, baby items, and of course, junk.

5. When you find something that interests you, click on the REPLY TO link and contact the person who placed the ad.

Tips & Warnings

• Act fast. Free items on Craigslist don't last long.
• Check for free items several times a day as new posts can appear any time, 24/7.
• You do not need to have a user id on Craigslist to read and reply to the ads.
• Avoid being scammed by dealing locally. Don't ever wire or send money to anyone offering anything on Craigslist. Deal with them in person.
• Always meet your Craiglist trading partner in public, during the day, in a populated well-lit location.
• For your own safety, take someone with you when meeting your Craigslist trading partner.
