Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sealable plastic food container of size to accommodate finished salad
  • lettuce or greens of choice
  • dressing of choice
  • tomatoes, cheese, nuts, fruits, meats or other desired topping
  1. Step 1

Place desired amount of dressing in bottom of clean food container.

  2. Step 2

Place heaviest and most moist toppings next- tomatoes, meat, artichoke hearts, etc. into the container.

  3. Step 3

Place drier, lighter ingredients next- shredded cheese, chopped onion, dried fruit, etc. into container.

  4. Step 4

Top with washed, dried lettuce or greens of choice. Place lid on container and store in a cool place, avoiding inverting the container. Shake thoroughly to toss the ingredients when ready to consume.

Tips & Warnings
  • If croutons are desired, place on top of lettuce, but be sure lettuce is as dry as possible, or croutons will become soggy!
