Things You'll Need:
- Digital photography.
-
Step 1
First rule is to always be safe. If taking a picture of wildlife, it is best to stand down wind. This will help prevent the animal picking up your scent.
-
Step 2
Using features such as zoom and taking picture from higher ground will help keep you safe when taking wildlife pictures.
-
Step 3
When photographing moving subjects use the shutter priority pose and the fasted shutter speed that you have.
-
Step 4
To create a blurry background and still keep your subject clear, switch your mode to aperture priority and choose a gage aperture . If you are using a point and shoot digital camera your best option would be to set your settings to portrait.
-
Step 5
Zoom in on the animal to create your desired photograph and shoot the picture. Beware of your surroundings.
