Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- 3 minutes
- 1-5 pound dumb bells
- water
- watch
Step1
The first step before you do any kind of exercise is to stretch. Stretch your arms and legs to the fullest to prevent your body from cramping up during the 3 minute rapid workout.
Step2
Once fully stretched, pick up the dumb bells, one in each hand. For those just starting out, you may want to use a 1 pound weight and work your way up to 3-5 pound. I would recommend a 1-3 pound weight for those just starting out.
Step3
Stand with you feet shoulder distance apart and bend your knees slightly. You're going to do a list of 6 exercises at 30 seconds a piece, that equals 3 minutes. While bending your knees, quickly bring the weights up in a lifting motion by your side. Pick the weights up and down at a quick pace for 30 seconds.
Step4
After the 30 seconds, stand up and position your arms over your head with the weights and pull them down and push them up over and over for 30 seconds. There is no resting between these exercises, 3 minutes of working out non stop!
Step5
Next put your arms to your side and lift the weights up and place your arms back down by your side. Do this quickly over and over for 30 seconds.
Step6
Next place your arms out in front of you with the weights held vertical together. Begin to open your chest up by moving the weights out and away from you and then back together. Do this exercise for 30 seconds.
Step7
Next put your arms back up over your head and move the weights up and down quickly for 30 seconds.
Step8
The last exercise is the hardest. Hold the weights firmly in your hands and begin to punch outward in front of you. Punch normal for the first 20 seconds but for the last 10 seconds turn up the speed.
