Fresh limes add the perfect Zip to an Adult Margie!
Fresh limes add the perfect Zip to an Adult Margie!

This is NOT the sweet, blended margarita from your college days, no, this is a grown-up ADULT margarita!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Margarita Glasses
  • Course salt for rim
  • Ice
  • Good tequila preferably Hornitos
  • Triple Sec
  • Fresh Limes
  • A couple of willing friends to share with!
  1. Step 1

Cut 3 fresh limes in half and squeeze the juice into a container.
I like the hand squeezers (green for limes). Measure how many ounces
    of lime juice you have.

  2. Step 2

Measure an equal amount of Triple Sec and pour into your container.
Measure an equal amount of Hornitos Tequila and pour into your container.
(1 part lime juice, 1 part triple sec, 1 part tequila)

  3. Step 3

Take a used lime half and go around the rim of a margarita glass
before salting the rim with a course margarita salt.

  4. Step 4

    Fill glasses with ice.
Stir the container (lime juice, triple sec and tequila)
    Pour into salted glasses.

Tips & Warnings
  • Warning! This is NOT the sweet cocktail from your college days!
  • For Adults who like a REAL margarita, just like in Mexico!
  • This is for Adults over the age of 21 only.
  • Do not drink and drive.
  • Moderation is the best policy when it comes to this Adult Beverage!
  • Can be habit forming, especially when served with Guacamole and Chips!
