How to Stop a Charlie Horse (cramp) in Your Foot
Do you know that painful sudden cramping feeling, where your muscles seem to take on a life of their own, and begin cramping up, sending you into excruciating agony? If it is your foot that is twitching and convulsing, there is a way to bring it under control. It normally works for me, and maybe it will work for you.

Do not bend your foot downward, or the cramp will increase.

Bend your foot upwards, pulling your toes towards your body. Follow the example in the image shown with this article.

Bend your foot, toes pointing upwards, toward your calf, as much as possible, pulling your toes towards your body, and hold in that position until your Charlie horse stops.
