Things You'll Need:
- Coupons
- Comfortable shoes
- Time
-
Step 1
Ramada Limited HotelGet coupons from the hotel you are staying or any visitor centers around town. These coupons will help make the trip less expensive. They are coupons for most all the attractions. Sometimes you can find group discount coupons also.
-
Step 2
Sand CrabVisit the Ripley’s Aquarium. The aquarium has really cool fish! We saw sharks, manatees’, poisonous fish, crabs, and many other species. They even have a tank where you can pet a sand crab. It was pretty cool; feels slick but rough at the same time. You’ll have to try it for yourself to see what I mean. There are informational plates at the exhibits to tell you a little about each species. One section has a moving floor that takes you along as you watch all the fish swimming around. If you have motion sickness like I do, don’t worry, you can walk along side the moving floor! The Ripley’s Aquarium is definitely something you should see if you go to Gatlinburg.
-
Step 3
Tennessee Museum of AviationGo see the Tennessee Museum of Aviation. The museum offers many different planes for viewing, a gift shop, and knowledgeable volunteers to explain everything. They even have a cockpit you can sit in and mess with all the controls. It’s a great photo op!
-
Step 4
GatlinburgPlaying putt-putt golf, going to Dolly Wood, or any of the other many attractions will fill up all your extra time. There are so many things to do in and around Gatlinburg that you are sure to find something for the whole family.
