Things You'll Need:
- An extra long towel mine from Ikea.
- A hand towel of choice.
- I use white towels for the base, since that is what Ikea had.
- Any big bath towel will work.
- Sewing ability, at least a little. Sewing machine or friend who sews.
- Scissors, straight pins.
- Decorative trim if you want it to be specialized.
- Thread to match.
-
Step 1
Finding The Center Of Each TowelPlace the long towel out flat, then fold in half to find the exact center. Mark with a pencil or straight pin. Fold the hand towel end to end also finding the center and mark the center at the edge of the towel. Make sure you keep your marking in place.
-
Step 2
Now that you have the centers marked, cut or lay the theme ribbon or fabric that you chose for trim on one edge of the hand towel. Sew this to the long edge. Then pin the ends of the hand towel with the right sides together to form the hood. Sew the pinned edges of the small hand towel. Center the hood again along the long side of the larger towel, making each towels center match.
-
Step 3
Wrap a Pup With Hood AttachedNext pin the long edge of the hand towel that doesn't have the trim right sides matching, and centers lined up. Stitch this to the bath towel. Clip the extra threads and get ready to give that pup a bath.

on 3/21/2009 Good idea for a small dog. I have a 180lb Great Dane. I would have to have an enormous towel.LOL 5*
