No Air Conditioning in your pad? Make your own-it's easy!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Fan or two fans
  • water and ice cubes
  • bowl or tuperware container

Step1
Fill the pan almost all the way to top You need to fit your fan (hopefully its a flat-type) in front of your window, and the flat pan or bowl of water and ice cubes in front of the fan.
Step2
During the day, close your blinds and the window, and just use the ice cube and water in front of the fan.
Step3
Ahhhh cool nights As soon as the temperature drops, open your window (the one the fan's in front of) and make sure the ice and water is refreshed and cold. Prepare for a nice cool evening.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have a second fan, use that to move the cooler air around your place. Or do the same with the other fan- water and ice cubes in the container in front of it.
  • MAKE SURE THAT THE FAN'S ELECTRICAL CORDS HAVE NO CONTACT WITH THE WATER PAN!!!
  • Always be sure the fan is stable, and the container of water is also on a sturdy surface.
