How to Not Get Scammed from As Seen on TV Products

How many times have you seen a product advertised on TV and thought it was ridiculous but then, the more you see it, you begin to believe it? Well don't waste your money!

      Don't buy into it!

Even though the products may work...they never work the way the ads say they do! If they did, why on Earth would they be giving you "two for the low low price of..". That is just a plow to get you to purchase it. Sure you could give one as a gift but then who hasn't seen the same commercial that you have and the other person would know they got the free one!

      Protect Your Credit

When you call to purchase these products, the real scam begins. They will sign you up for additional products and all you have to do is pay the shipping and handling. You can cancel anytime! Yeah, right! Try getting through to these people! They don't answer and if they do, they will put you on hold forever till you give up! If you finally do get them, they will give you a runaround.

If you really have to have the product, just wait. If they are worth have of what they say they are, they will begin showing up in stores. Many chain drugstores have "as seen on TV" displays. I have seen some products in Wal-Mart. Give them a try then. You may not get the two for one special but you won't go through the hassle of dealing with the rest of the crap either. The stuff I have bought turned out to be a waste of money anyway.

I definitely agree with step 3. That is what i always do anyway, and at stores like Bed Bath and Beyond, you can get a refund if you are not completely satisfied.
