Okay, so you have decide on getting a tattoo. Now comes the hard part, what to get. Sure there are tons of clip art book at the tattoo parlor, and you can find one there, but will you be truly happy with it.

Step1

First off, you do need to do some research about the parlor and the artist. You do this by asking around town and if you see someone with a tattoo ask them where they got it. Most of the time they'll tell about what artist they used. I really do believe that this important in getting a tattoo, because you need to make sure that this an artist that will make your tattoo a work of art.

Step2

Here is the hard part, deciding on which tattoo will fit you and represents you. You want to find something that you want to live with for the rest of your life. For me it was my love of dragons, and for my mom it was her love of dream-catchers. Find something that you have a passion for and if you can't find the right design, the tattoo artist most of time will help draw it out for you.

Step3

Now for last step, where to put it. Do you want to show it off all time or do you need to keep it hidden? These are questions you need to ask you self. Also you need to keep in mind of you changing body and how your tattoo will look in about 10 years from now. When all these have been answered make the appointment and get it done!!
