How to deal with military recruiters in your neighborhood.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Confidence
  1. Step 1

Before you decide to join the military service BE SURE that is what you want to do! It could mean the next 4 yrs of life, so make sure it is something you want to do! The last thing you'll want to do is go UA or be do something stupid and risk a dishonorable discharge, because then you'll have made your life a whole lot harder.

  2. Step 2

Next step would be to contact your local recruiter, he'll be glad to hear from you. Remember him getting you to join is his job!! So he will be doing all he can to get you in, from gifts to many pep talks. Once he has you he will not want to let go of you.

  3. Step 3

Ask about what you want to do in the military and see if they offer that kind of job. For instance the Marines get there medical staff from the Navy, because the Marines are a department of the Navy. Ask about what Boot Camp or Basic Training are like and the benefits your entitled to.

  4. Step 4

Remember to be confident, these are serious choices your making. They will affect you and the people around you. And if you don't want to join the service that's perfectly fine, and have the courage to say no.
