How to use ElecKey to Protect EXE and Enforce Licensing

• ElecKey 2.0 Express
• ElecKey 2.0 Professional
• ElecKey 2.0 Network
• ElecKey 2.0 Internet
• ElecKey 2.0 Enterprise

1. Run ElecKey Integrator. The wizard dialog box appears.
2. Click the Next button to continue.
3. In the Select Direction page, select Protect Application and Enforce Licensing. Then, click the Next button.
4. In the Specify Protected Program page, enter the original program file name in the Original field and the protected program file name in the Target field. Then, click the Next button.
5. Follow the dialog boxes until the Set Options page.
6. Click the Key Options button. The Key Options dialog box appears.
7. In the Key Options dialog box, if you wish to enable the computer-based protection, select Computer-based Signature Extensions; and either Enable BIOS Signature or Enable Ethernet LAN Card Signature, or both. Then, click OK.
8. Follow the dialog boxes until the Summary page.
9. In the Summary page, click the Integrate button.
