ElecKey provides a software-based locking system that causes the protected application to check a harddisk-based Key before operation. Whereas the Key is specific to a computer, the application is locked to operate only on a licensed computer. Besides the software protection capability, ElecKey provides licensing capability that allows you to create different types of software distribution and marketing options. For instance, creating a time-limited evaluation version, requiring software registration, and activation. Advanced licensing features include network-based centralized licensing (or floating license) and web services for automated licensing. More details: http://www.sciensoft.com
