Heres how to make a Shrimp Scampi Meal under 20 minutes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Frying pan
  • Pot big enough to cook your pasta in.
  • 5 tablespoons Butter or oil
  • 6 16/20 Shrimp peeled and deveined per plate
  • 1/4 cup White Wine per plate
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic per plate
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 4 Grape Tomatoes
  • 1 Green Onion
  • 1 serving Pasta per plate
  • water and corn starch(optional)
  1. Step 1

    As you peel and devein your shrimp heat your water in a pot big enough for your amount of pasta.

    If you are having garlic bread now is the time to heat your oven

  2. Step 2

    As you wait for your pasta water to boil star melting your butter in the frying pan over medium heat. Add your garlic to your pan and saute' till it starts to get clear looking.

    Can smell the aroma of the cooking garlic?

    Place your garlic bread in oven if you are having it.

  3. Step 3

    Add your pasta to your pot an cook it by the instructions on the package.

    As you pasta cooks you can start cooking your shrimp.

  4. Step 4

    Add your shrimp to your garlic and cook your shrimp. If you are making a lot of the shrimp scampi than you may need to turn your heat a little higher or use more than on frying pan.

  5. Step 5

    When your shrimp are all most done.(they should still be a little translucent) Add your wine and turn the heat to medium-high. Wine should be boiling by now.

  6. Step 6

    Add your diced tomatoes and green onions.

    Thicken slightly with a slurry of corn starch and water.

    Pull your garlic bread from your oven.

  7. Step 7

    Drain your pasta, plate it up and enjoy.
