If you have ever worked around asbestos you should get a checkup from a doctor. This advice is not a substitute for that but here are some of the early warning signs of mesothelioma.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Step1
One form is pleural mesothelioma and some of the warning signs of pleural mesothelioma are lower side pain or chest pain. This is seen in about sixty percent of cases. Shortness of breath is another sign.
Step2
Other people may suffer difficulty of swallowing, a persistent cough, weight loss and constant fatigue with pleural mesothelioma or asbestos cancer.
Step3
Peritoneal mesothelioma is found in the abdomen and symptoms can include pain in the abdomen, weight loss and loss of appetite as well as vomiting.
If you have worked around asbestos or in a factory that may have used asbestos you should get to a doctor immediately, especially if you have any of these symptoms. It could save your life. Also, if you are the spouse of someone who has worked around asbestos and cleaned their clothes you have also probably come into contact, to a lesser degree, but you should be checked as well.
Modern medicine has come a long way as far as treatments but early detection and diagnosis is a must.
