Bibs aren't just for babies!

It never fails. You're out for the evening, having a nice dinner, and you drop something on your shirt. Some food stains are hard to wash out and can ruin your nice, or even new, clothes. You can make yourself, or someone you know, an adult bib in any fabric, allowing you to choose the fashion and style you want. They will save your clothes from stains. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • Fabric
  • Scissors
  • Sewing machine
  • Thread
  • Velcro or button

Instructions

    • 1

      Cut a square of fabric 24 inches by 30 inches. You can add an inch or two for more coverage.

    • 2

      Load the thread into the sewing machine. Sew a 1/4-inch deep turned hem.

    • 3

      Sew Velcro to two corners of the fabric to make fasteners for the bib. You can also use a button-and-hole design.
