Here are some tips to get the best prices. If you do research in your area, you can save some money too!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet
  • Pay attention to gas stations in bordering towns to yours
  • Keep on top of it as prices change.

Step1
Save Money with Gasbuddy! To find the cheapest gas station in your area or town, go to www.gasbuddy.com. Save it to your favorites and it will change everyday so you can check it daily.
Step2
In some areas, gas stations are lowering prices by as much as .10 for cash paying customers. It would be to be your advantage to seek those gas stations out in your area.
Step3
Buy Gas in Quantities! Buy gasoline in quantities for a locked in price is an option. This is fairly new and so do your research. There is a membership fee of $39.99. You will have a debit card to use at the gas station, which will guarantee you the price you bought it at. This company is still negotiating with companies all over the US, so that most gas stations will accept the debit card. Go to www.mygallons.com
Step4
Shop Around for Gas! Last of all, if you can't save in any of these areas on gasoline, your best bet to help beat the high prices of gasoline are to save money in other areas to counteract the high prices. See my articles "How to get free long distance calls" & "How to get free gas, groceries & merchandise".

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep up your research to save as much as you can.
