Sunflowers have to be one of the most cheerful flowers on earth. Have you ever thought of having them indoors? What better way to start off our day than having a big, bright sunflower be one of the first things that you see? Follow a few steps to grow sunflowers indoors.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • • Large pot • Dirt • Well lit window • Spring water

Step1
Fill your pots with plenty of dirt. Well fertilized dirt is best to get these giant flowers growing.
Step2
Plant in a large pot. These flowers get big and if they are crammed into a little pot their growth becomes stunted. One flower per pot should work out great.
Step3
Place your pots in well lit window. There is a reason that these flowers are called sunflowers
Step4
Make sure your plants get plenty of water. Spring water is full of the minerals and vitamins that a sunflower needs without the impurities it doesn't.

Tips & Warnings

  • Sunflowers can be grow from seed or planted as a seedling. These resilient plants are difficult to kill. To grow well, sunflowers need full sun.
