Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Open your web browser and type in www.couponwinner.com (or click the link in Resources, below). Bookmark the site by adding it to your Favorites.
Step2
The yellow tabs are for categories of coupons, like “Most Used” and “Free Shipping.” The yellow tabs also include “Coupons by Store” so you can peruse the list to find the stores that you shop. There, you will find links to coupons for over 3,000 retailers including Target, PetSmart, Macy's, and Amazon.com, just to name a few. At Amazon.com, for instance, you will find great savings like 34% off books over $25.
Step3
The blue tabs are for categories of purchases. Click on one of the blue tabs to hone down to a specific category. For instance, you can click on the Home and Garden tab, and then click on Garden & Landscaping for great deals from gardening retailers, including Home Depot, Sears, and Spring Hill Nursery.
Step4
Once you find the coupon you want to use, look for Use Coupon on the right side. Check to see if it tells you what coupon code you need to use at checkout, or if it says “No Code Needed.” When you click on Use Coupon, you will jump to the retailer’s site in a new web window. Add the items you want to the shopping cart and at checkout, if your coupon read “No Code Needed”, your discount will automatically be applied; otherwise, you will need to enter the discount code. You can return to couponwinner.com, which will remain open in a separate window, to copy the coupon code.
Step5
If you see more than one retailer offering a coupon for types of products that interest you, go to the retailer’s site first to see if they have just the item that you want. You can then come back to couponwinner.com to choose the one retailer whose merchandise matches what you want to use their coupon on your purchase.
