How to Use Natural Remedies for Rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic, painful skin condition that affects adults. Rosacea causes redness in the cheeks that consist of small, red, pus-filled bumps. If untreated, rosacea can become worse over time. In general, rosacea comes and goes and sufferers experience outbreaks of varying intensity over a period of weeks or months, interspersed by periods where the skin doesn't display outbreaks. While there is no cure for rosacea, natural remedies can be used to alleviate symptoms and the pain associated with rosacea outbreaks.

Look for a multivitamin you can take daily which includes vitamins A, B12, C and Zinc. These vitamins help strengthen capillaries, create healthy nails, hair and skin and help skin heal.
-
2
Take a daily supplement of flaxseed and grapeseed extracts, as both help reduce inflammation, a critical aspect of rosacea. Take 1 tsp. flaxseed oil extract and 50 mg of grapeseed oil extract daily.
-
3
Apply a thin layer of horse-chestnut cream or rose-wax cream to your cheeks during a rosacea outbreak twice daily.
-
4
Wash your face daily with a gentle skin cleanser. Protect your face in the summer with sunscreen, and in the winter with a scarf. Avoid green or yellow-tinted creams and powdered cosmetics during outbreaks. Avoid alcohol during outbreaks.
