How to use The Secret

You have heard of The Secret and may have seen the movie. Here is how to work "The Secret" in your life.

1. Before you go to sleep, be thankful for what you have. Really feel how important your children are to you or your pets and appreciate everything about them. Look around your room and be thankful for every square inch of your surroundings. You are now in a good frame of mind. This is where you need to get clear on what it is you want to create and visualize what you want as being as real as possible. Don't just see it in your minds eye, but use all your senses. Think of how it would feel, how it would smell, how it would look. For example, visualize how it would feel to be floating on the ocean on a cruise ship, or how it would feel to shake Oprah Winfrey's hand. Is her hand warm, moist, or cold? Is her hair put up. What color is her dress.
2. Make yourself a vision board of things you would like to achieve. Cutting pictures from magazines or print out pictures from the computer and then glue them to your poster board. Take your time to fill it up as you do not have to know everything you want right away. As days past you will think of something else that you want to put on your vision board. Keep your vision board where you will see it every day. By your computer, by your tv or even on your bathroom wall so that you see it every day.
3. Believe that it is going to happen. This is the hardest part to achieve, but you must assume that what you are visualizing will happen. One way to trick yourself into this belief system is to visualize something small. For example, you know that you will talk to your spouse that day. You know it will happen without a doubt. You just know. Feel how that feels and be aware of your state of mind, then apply that to what you want.
