Things You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup light corn syrup 1 cup heavy whipping cream 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Vanilla ice cream

Step1
In a large heavy saucepan, cook butter
overmediumheat for 4-6minutes or until
golden brown.
Step2
Stir in sugar and corn
syrup; cook and stir for 2minutes or until
sugar is dissolved. Remove fromthe heat;
gradually stir in cream.
Step3
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat tomedium.
Cook until sauce begins to thicken. Re-
move fromthe heat. Stir in pecans and
vanilla. Serve warmover ice cream. Yield
2cups.
