Point to “start” menu and select and point to Settings

Select control panel
Step3
Click on Accessibility Options (if you are operating on a system running on Windows Me and XP professional)

Then select mouse Tab
Step5
Check the “Use mouse keys” then Select Setting
Step6
In the keyboard shortcut section, check “use shortcut”

Under pointer speed section, specify the parameters

When done with the setting then, Click on Apply followed by Ok

Tips & Warnings

  • Note: you must select an option as when to use the mouse keys. (i.e. when the NumLock is on or Off). This could be an alternative when you are using both mouse and these keys (mouse keys). You may simply turn off the mouse the Num Lock and use your mouse and on when you want to come back to it. This is also resistible to the use of the Numeric Key Pad, so I suggest, set to use the mouse keys when the NumLock is turned off for your advantage.
