Store bought deodorant can be full of harmful chemicals. Learn how to make your own spray natural deodorant using essential oils.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 7 oz floral water or herbal infusion
  • 1 oz cider vinegar
  • 60 drops of essential oil of your choosing
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • spray bottle
  1. Step 1

    Pour the herbal floral water and the vinegar in the spray bottle.

  2. Step 2

    Choose scent:

    * Soft Floral Scent: Use rose floral water and add 40 drops of lavender, 4 drops of clary sage, 2 drops of patchouli, and 14 drops of Mandaring essential oil.

    * Fresh Citrus Scent: Use Orange blossom water, 20 drops of grapefruit, 20 drops of lemon grass, 15 drops of bergamot, and 5 drops of cypress essential oil.

    * Light Herbal Scent: Use lavender floral water, 20 drops of rosemary, 20 drops of sandalwood , 15 drops of juniper, 5 drops eucalyptus essential oil.

  3. Step 3

    Pour honey into a small dish, then add the essential oil of your choosing to the honey.

  4. Step 4

    Pour honey and oil mixture in spray bottle with floral water.

  5. Step 5

    Shake to mix.

  6. Step 6

    Label and store away from direct sunlight. Use as you would commercial spray deodorant.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not use oils with citrus when in direct sunlight. Citrus can increase chances of getting a sunburn.
