Essential oil has many uses, including reducing the effects of hair loss. Many store bought products use the same recipe but charge a fortune. Learn how to make your own hair loss treatment from essential oil.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 tbls. Jojob oil
  • 1 tbls. Calendula infusion oil
  • 1/2 tsp. Carrot seed oil.
  • 10 drops lavender essential oil
  • 6 drops Clary Sage essential oil
  • 4 drops Rosemary essential oil
  1. Step 1

    In a small bottle stir the jojoba oil and the carrot seed oil together.

  2. Step 2

    Then gently add the essential oils and shake the bottle lightly to mix.

  3. Step 3

    Before applying to hair, warm the bottle by holding under warm water.

  4. Step 4

    Message a few drops of oil into the scalp area that is most effective. Make sure to leave hair down while hair dries, oil does not need to be rinsed out till next shampoo.

  5. Step 5

    Apply oil a couple times a week.

Tips & Warnings
  • To further reduce hair loss avoid chlorinated water, over shampooing, and chemical hair treatments.
