How to Make a Cocoa Cinnamon Drink Mix

This is very easy to make. I usually pack these mixes (I have 3 different recipes) in nice containers and give them as gifts to my friends. I also keep some in stock for my family's consumption. These powdered mixes are like the ones you get in stores. But with this recipe, you can make it just the way you like it. Just adjust the recipe according to your taste. The recipe mix that I have below has been adjusted to how my sisters and I like it. I hope that you enjoy this recipe and have fun in giving it as gifts to your friends as well. This makes 2 cups of cocoa powdered mix.

Things You’ll Need:

• 1/2 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/2 Cup powdered milk
• 1 Cup sugar
• 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon

1. In a bowl combine all the ingredients with a wire whisk.
2. Make sure that the ingredients are well blended.
3. Pour into a resealable container.
4. For every cup of warm/hot milk add about 5-6 tablespoons of the mix. Stir well and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings

• Suggestions: serve this on a cup with flavored stirrers like cinnamon sticks, rock sugar sticks, peppermint sticks or as my other sister likes it with a licorice stick. And or topped with marshmallows or grated chocolate or powdered cinnamon or a dollop of cream.
• If you are giving these as a gift it would be a nice touch to add the flavored stirrers in the packaging as well.
• I usually use full cream powdered milk, but you can also use the nonfat powdered milk for a low fat version.
• And you can also use sugar substitutes instead of the regular confectioners sugar.
