Things You'll Need:

  • an open mind
  • a sound knowlege of what you believe
  1. Step 1

    Take a self-inventory and discover what you truly believe about all the issues at hand. Are you a fiscal and social conservative or are you more liberal?

  2. Step 2

    Decide which issues are most important to you and in what order. Then research both candidates and see where they are on the same issues. Check their past voting records to see how they voted on those issues.

  3. Step 3

    Pray for discernment as you choose the candidate whose values and principles are most closely aligned with yours.
