Cook a roast that is so tender it falls off the bone, and make it while you work.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 5 lb beef roast
  • 2 large potatoes (cubed)
  • 3 carrots (thickly sliced)
  • 1/2 lb snap peas
  • 1 large onion (Halved)
  • 2 zucchini (quartered)
  • 1 can beef broth
  • Italian spices
  • Your favorite beef rub
  1. Step 1

Slice the vegtables and then layer them on the bottom of the Crock-pot. Cover the roast with the rub and then lay it on top of the vegtables.

  2. Step 2

Pour the beef broth over the meat and vegtables then add the spices to taste.

  3. Step 3

Cook on high for 8 hours. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Try adding different vegtables for your own unique flavor.
  • Use all organic ingredients for a healthier alternative.
  • Try eating with rice or mashed potatoes
  • Save the broth and use it to make a tasty soup

on 6/30/2009 I love roast sandwiches, the real stuff, not the stuff you get at the deli. I never however feel like going to all the trouble to make a roast. This sounds really easy. Thanks!
