Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- 1-2 lbs cubed beef
- 3-4 potatoes (cubed)
- 3 carrots (sliced)
- 3 stalks of celery (sliced)
- 1 cup of pearl onions
- 1 can of beef broth (may substitute 2 cups of water and beef bullion cubes)
- 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
- Thyme
- Bay leaves
- Italian seasonings
- Corn starch
Step1
Add the meat and vegetables to the crock pot.
Step2
Pour the beef broth over the meat and vegtables (or beef bullion and water) and then add the spices to taste.
Step3
Set the slow cooker to high and cook for 6-8 hours.
Step4
Add 1 Tbs of corn starch to 1/2 cup of cold water and then mix into the stew to thicken. Let sit for 15 minutes, if more thickening is required then add more corn starch. Enjoy!
