This article covers many of the ways that you can get a teacher or professor to change your grade for an assignment, test, or even your final grade

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Approach your teacher or professor privately. This may be after school or during office hours.

  2. Step 2

Ask your teacher to review the assignment or your overall coursework along with you. By reviewing the assignment, the teacher may notice something that they previously had overlooked that will work in your favor.

  3. Step 3

Ask your teacher if their is any way that you can gain additional points for the assignment in question. Teachers are far more likely than many think to change grades. Just showing you care enough to talk about it can go along way.

Tips & Warnings
  • be polite
  • be firm
  • ask if you can possibly redo assignments
  • calculate your grade to see how far away from the next grade you are
