Things You'll Need:
- Eyebrow Pencil
- Mirror
- Patience
- Pencil Sharpener
-
Step 1
First, sharpen your pencil. It's best if it's not a very pointy tip, but rather lightly rounded. Too rounded, though, and you'll have a very blunt look.
-
Step 2
Use a brow brush (usually on the end of a pencil) to sweep brows upward. This gives you a defined bottom line to work with.
-
Step 3
Making very short strokes, start at the top of the arch and slowly fill downwards. Think of using a crayon and making a very light, even color fill--press too hard and it will definitely show.
-
Step 4
I tend to apply a little more pressure when filling the bottom of the brow line, only because I think it is the only place that can take a little more definition. Don't worry if you color outside the lines a little--we'll take that off in a second.
-
Step 5
When you've filled to your liking, go back over with the brow brush and brush into your arch. This will smudge everything together and typically erase stray marks.
