Tired of having to light candles everywhere? Does the automatic air freshener annoy you everything it goes off? Oil burners typically become black over time no? Well I have an idea that can help you over come these issues.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 sheet of Bounty Paper towel or wash cloth
  • 1 bottle of fragrant oil or flower essences
  • step stool or ladder
  • 1 pair of disposable gloves
  1. Step 1

First you should put your gloves on before handling anything involving oils, this will help avoid absorbent and irritation. If oil gets on your hands it is very difficult to wash off and the fragrance will linger.

  2. Step 2

Take the paper towel or wash cloth and place about 4-5 drops of fragrance oil/ flower essences onto it.

  3. Step 3

Step up onto your ladder or step stool, and on a cooled off light bulb swipe the paper towel/wash cloth across the tip of the light bulb. It should seem like you are dusting off the light bulb in a swift stroke.

  4. Step 4

Turn your light on, as the light bulb becomes heated to fragrance will arise.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure the light bulb has been off for at least 20 minutes to avoid burning your hand.
  • If you have more than one light bulb in the room only choose one light bulb, the fragrance may become over powering if used in more than one section of the room.
  • Experiment with different scents.

on 7/21/2008 I'm not a big fragrance guy, but I had to read this one just out of curiousity. A very clever idea!

on 7/17/2008 What a great idea! I used to have the metal rings you put on the light bulb, but they kept tipping.
