Instructions

    • 1

Determine what type of fogging and misting application you need for your home. An electric fogger is good for a small area and plugs easily into a wall socket, while a thermal mister is preferred if you are killing mosquitoes over a large area. Research the benefits and drawbacks for both in your situation.

    • 2

Purchase the fogger and the liquid fog that goes with it. Depending on how long you wish to fog and how large of an area you need to cover, you will want to choose between a ½ gallon and several gallon sized jug of fog.

    • 3

Fill your fogger to the appropriate level. Filling your fogger appropriately ensures that your area is properly exterminated of mosquitoes. Consult your owner’s manual for proper levels.

    • 4

Plug in your electric fogger and place in the center of the area you wish to rid of mosquitoes. The small area an electric fogger reaches means you will have to unplug and move the machine if you want to reach several spots on your property and properly rid them of mosquitoes.

    • 5

Hook the propane tank up to your thermal unit if that is your choice. Light the heating element and allow it to work. This will reach a much wider area than the electric unit. But it is still important to have the unit centrally located so that the fog reaches all the crucial areas of your property to kill the mosquitoes.
