How to Get the Sector 7 Slum's Key in Final Fantasy VII

The Sector 7 Slum's key is a very important aspect of Final Fantasy VII. This key allows you to get into Gates 5, 6 and 7 in Midgar. By getting this key, you will be able to get Tifa's final weapon. The following steps show you what you need to do to get this key.

Instructions

1. Talk to the old man outside of Gate 7 in Midgar. He'll mention he lost his key while excavating.

2. Go to Bone Village, since this is the only excavation site.

3. Talk to the foreman and tell him you're looking for "normal treasure."

4. Place your excavators around the top area in Bone Village, and set off the blast.

5. Come back in the morning to dig. You might have to dig multiple times. Eventually a box will turn up on the bottom level of Bone Village containing the Sector 7 Slum's key. You will now be able to enter Gate 7 in Midgar where the old man was.

Tips & Warnings

• This key is also known as the Sector 5 key, although you enter through Gate 7. This is because it allow you access to Sectors 5, 6 and 7.
