Take a trolley tour. Take a trolley ride for a guided tour of the history and local legends of Eureka Springs. It would be highly recommended to take the trolley ride first to give you an overview of all that the town has to offer.

Go shopping. You can walk up and down the narrow streets of Eureka Springs and shop the numerous specialty shops, art galleries and clothing boutiques. In just a few hours, you can visit every store in the downtown area, all are in walking distance. While you are walking the streets, take the time to listen to the many "starving musicians" as they play for you on the street.

Visit The Great Passion Play. On the grounds of the Passion Play, you will be able to visit the world famous "Christ of the Ozarks." There is a park area at this location for you to enjoy a picnic lunch under towering oak trees. The Great Passion Play is an outdoor amphitheater which hosts a performance highlighting the life of Christ. Prior to the nightly show, you can also take a walking tour of the Holy Land. Visit local architechture. Whether you plan to stay at the haunted Crescent Hotel or not, you should take the time to walk around and explore the hotel and its breathtaking grounds.

Visit Thorncrown Chapel. Located three miles west of downtown Eureka Springs, you will find the Thorncrown Chapel. The chapel is not a historical relic, but an architectural wonder. Built in 1981, in the middle of the Ozark woods, the building is only made of pine trusses and walls of glass. Because of the beauty of this chapel, couples have traveled from all over the world to have their wedding in the 6,000 square foot chapel of glass.
