Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Napkins, any size or color
  • Ribbons, optional
  1. Step 1

Open the napkin out flat on a table or flat surface.

  2. Step 2

Fold the left side over to meet the right side. The fold should be on the left side.

  3. Step 3

Fold up the bottom of the napkin 4 inches.

  4. Step 4

Fold the bottom up again another 4 inches. This forms the pocket.

  5. Step 5

Turn the napkin over so the right side is facing down.

  6. Step 6

Fold each side to the center.

  7. Step 7

Tuck one of the back edges inside the other to hold together.

  8. Step 8

Turn napkin right side up and you are now ready to fill the pocket with whatever you like.

Tips & Warnings
  • Starching and ironing the napkins will help keep the shape of the pocket.
  • Tie a ribbon around the middle of the pocket for an added touch and to help hold the pocket's shape.
