There are many ways to honor a deceased pet. One of the most creative and beautiful ways to do so is by creating a scrapbook filled with pictures and rich with memories. With a little money and a lot of heart, you can create a precious memory of your loved pet that will last a lifetime. This article will provide you with the steps on how to create a scrapbook which will keep your pet's memories around forever.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Scrapbook
  • Paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Stickers
  • Pictures of your pet

Step1
Gather pictures of your pet. You may choose to create a book in chronological order starting when you first brought your pet home or you may have a few favorite pictures of a vacation or costume featuring your pet.
Step2
Purchase scrapbooking materials. You can do this by visiting an arts & crafts store in your area (Michael's or Jo-Ann's both have a large scrapbook section). You can also purchase scrapbooking papers and other materials online. Scrapbook.com is a great resource for scrapbooking.
Step3
Set aside quality time to work on your scrapbook. You do not want to rush through the process of making this scrapbook. You want to put a lot of energy and thought into it in order to make it special.
Step4
Be creative! Feel free to cut the pictures into fun shapes or put fitting quotes or inspirational sayings in your scrapbook, anything goes. This is Your scrapbook for your pet. Make sure that it represents your pet and the fun times you shared.
Step5
Place the scrapbook on display. You may want to put it on the coffee table or on the bookcase in your house. Not only should you want to show off your hard work, you should keep a reminder of your pet inside of your house.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add whatever you'd like to the scrapbook. You may want to include your pet's collar or tags.
  • Search the Internet for specific scrapbooking materials. There are a ton of stickers and papers which represent certain breeds of dogs and cats.
