Instructions

    • 1

Fold a full or queen-size bed sheet in half length-wise. Iron the folded sheet flat and fold it in half again. Iron the folded sheet again. If you use fabric other than a sheet, it should be cut to the size of a full size sheet.

    • 2

Sew the folded sheet down the long side and across one end using your sewing machine. This will give you a tube to fill for your pillow. Turn the pillow case right side out and so that the sewn edges are on the inside. You will have two layers of fabric on each side of where the pillow filling goes.

    • 3

Purchase pillow filling for your body pillow. You can use polyester pillow filling which you can find for a little as $2.00 a lb. or you can use feathers or scrap fabric. If you have an old down comforter that is leaking feathers, you can fold the comforter to use as a pillow form insider your new full body pillow.

    • 4

Fill your new body pillow cover with your feathers, or other pillow filling.

    • 5

Turn the ends of the pillowcase in and pin them closed. You can sew this on a sewing machine leaving a ridged edge, or you can carefully sew it closed by hand with an invisible prick stitch.
