Instructions

    • 1

Paint the box with your chosen base coat color. Allow to dry.

    • 2

Draw your design using a pencil, on the surface of the box, working on one side at a time.

    • 3

Fill the glue syringe with the craft glue. Trace over the design with the glue syringe. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly.

    • 4

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 on the other surface sides you want to emboss.

    • 5

Choose the metallic finish you would like and paint the surface using the metallic acrylic paint. Allow to dry.

    • 6

Paint the surface with black acrylic paint to give your piece an aged or antiqued look. While the paint is wet, immediately wipe off the black paint using a paper towel. The black paint will remain in the crevices, giving your creation the expensive antiqued look of embossed metal. Allow to dry.

    • 7

Spray the entire piece with clear acrylic spray.

Tips & Warnings

  • Experiment with other paint colors to give the look of carved wood or plaster finishes.
