Instructions
-
-
1
Cut the dowel rods in 12-inch pieces. These will be used as the stems of the flowers for your baby clothes bouquet.
-
2
Roll the baby clothes, towels and blankets. Keep them rolled with the rubber bands. You may need to fold larger pieces of clothing before rolling. This is the basis for your flowers.
-
-
3
Put the rubber band near the middle of the roll to make a small flower and toward the bottom of the roll to make a larger flower.
-
4
Pull apart the layers of fabric. Arrange them so that they resemble the petals of a flower.
-
5
Push the dowel rod into the flower you have just formed. Use another rubber band to secure the dowel rod to the flower. Decorate it with the plastic or fabric leaves. You have just made the first flower of your baby clothes bouquet.
-
6
Continue this process until you have enough flowers. Use small items, like socks, to make buds.
-
7
Arrange the flowers in your container or vase. You can put baby toys or more items of clothing in the bottom of the container to help hold up the flowers.

Tips & Warnings
Get creative! If you do not like the way your flower looks, just unroll it and start over.
Always keep track of your budget while you are shopping. It is easy to buy too many clothes when making your bouquet. Take advantage of packaged deals, such as a three-pack of onesies, when buying the items for your bouquet.
