Decorate the wedding reception tables with colorful and sweet Gerbera Daily wedding favors. The Gerbera Daisy wedding favors are simple and colorful. They can be made with fresh Gerbera Dailies, or silk flowers. Choosing between fresh Gerbera Daisies or silk versions will depend on your budget, and the seasonal availability in your local area. These wedding favors may be assembled quickly and they do not require any arts or crafts skills beyond tying a simple bow.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One daisy per favor
  • One small favor per guest
  • 20 Jordan almonds per favor
  • One glossy 2x2x2 favor box per guest
  • A pair of scissors
  • Eight inches of one-quarter inch organza Ribbon per favor
  1. Step 1

Choose between using fresh Gerbera Daisies or silk Gerbera daisies before you begin. Price fresh Gerbera Daisies in your area and compare that price to silk daisies. The geographic area where you live and the time of year of your wedding will contribute to the price.

  2. Step 2

Order or purchase one 2x2x2 glossy favor box for each guest. For a smaller wedding, or a wedding with a larger budget, opt for quilted favor boxes. Assemble the boxes from flat paper to cute wedding favor boxes.

  3. Step 3

Fill each Gerbera wedding favor box with 20 Jordan almonds, or the equivalent amount of your preferred wedding favor treats. Consider pre-wrapped chocolates, for example. Pre-wrapped candies are a better option when using fresh flowers.

  4. Step 4

Cut one piece of organza ribbon for each Gerbera Daisy wedding favor. Organza ribbon is available in an array of different colors. Match the color of the organza ribbon to your wedding theme. The other option is to use organza ribbon which is the same color as each Gerbera Daisy.

  5. Step 5

Tie a piece of organza ribbon to the Gerbera Daisy. The ribbon should be tied close to the bottom of the flower itself, high up on the stem. Make a pretty bow with the ribbon. Cut off any stray strings or strands from the ribbon.

  6. Step 6

Clip the bottom of the daisy stem to approximately three inches. Play with the height a bit, and subtract or add a half inch. The daisy should not sit much higher than the top of the open favor box. Place the flower in the box to complete the Gerbera Daisy wedding favors.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make an extra 10 favor boxes in addition to one favor per guest
  • Choose wider organza ribbon for a wider bow, and for a bigger wedding favor budget
  • One roll of organza ribbon contains between 23 and 25 yards of ribbon
  • Fresh flower Gebera Daisy favors should be made the day of the wedding.
