How To Tour Rome

1. Tour the ruins. Rome is a city that dates back to Biblical times. Due to its age, there are numerous ancient ruins to visit, mostly related to religious historic events. No trip to Rome would be complete without visiting such places as The Colosseum and The Parthenon.

2. Take a walking tour. You can either choose to go on a walking tour on your own or go on a guided tour of the city. The only disadvantage of going on a guided tour is that you cannot meander along at your own pace, walking and stopping as you would like. No matter which form of tour-taking you embark on, plan on devoting 3-6 hours to visit the major Roman sights.
