Thanks to video game emulators, gamers are enjoying their favorite titles from both now and the past. There may come a time when you want to transfer your game files to a disk. Perhaps you want to play these games at work or the library, for example, and you can't simply download them onto the computer. Placing these games on a disk is a somewhat different process than burning songs onto a CD. Nevertheless, it only takes a few minutes and is incredibly easy to do.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Place a blank CD in your computer.
Step2
Open the folder that contains your downloaded games.
Step3
Right-click on the title of a downloaded game that you wish to burn onto a CD.
Step4
Select “Send To.” This will open a small scroll-down box to the right. From that box, select the blank CD. For most computers, this will be found under the “D” drive. It will also most likely be the last option available in this box.
Step5
Select “Start” on the toolbar at the bottom of your computer screen.
Step6
Open “My Computer” and then double-click on the blank CD. This will be a CD Icon with “CD-R” written in small letters underneath the icon. This will open the folder for the blank CD. You will see the titles of your downloaded games which have been selected to be burned to the CD found underneath a “Files Ready to be Written to the CD” heading.
Step7
Right-click on a blank spot in the folder next to one of the downloaded game titles. This will open a smaller scroll-down box again. Select “Write these files to CD." This will open the CD Writing Wizard.
Step8
Name the CD by typing in your desired name in the box underneath the “CD name” heading. If you choose not to name the CD, it will simply be named whichever date it currently is when you're burning the games onto the CD.
Step9
Click “Next” and the games will begin burning to the CD. Once it has finished, the CD may eject itself. If it doesn't, eject it from your computer. Your games will now be on the CD.
