Now you can find them on soccer moms and teen age kids. These days, you can find tattoo parlors everywhere. But you can make a tattoo without leaving your home just by following these simple steps. Sterilize the needle and thread with rubbing alcohol.

Attach the thread to the needle. Start wrapping the thread about one sixteenth of an inch from the sharp end of the needle. Keep it tightly coiled and does not overlap as you continue to wind the thread up the needle. Make sure it goes at least one quarter inch up the needle. Tie it off when you’re done coiling it.

Sterilize the area of skin that is to be tattooed.

Dip the coiled end of the needle into the India ink. Poke the needle into the area of skin to be tattooed. Depending on the amount and type of thread you used, it should hold enough ink for 5 to 20 pokes.

Repeat the dipping and poking process until you are satisfied with the look of your tattoo.

Natural fiber thread, like cotton or hemp, will hold more ink than man made fibers like rayon or nylon.

This is another ehow that should be deleted. If I see one more person writing about sterilizing anything with rubbing alcohol, boiling water, or peroxide I think I might go postal... People use some sort of common sense. Please
