Take a few minutes to sit comfortably with your deck. Hold the deck and focus on your intent and the questions you want to answer. Some people use a piece of cloth, or an altar cloth, to cover the surface area of where they will do the layout. If you choose to use a cloth, lay it out on the surface where you will be working.

If you choose you may want to ask Spirit, or whichever Divinity you feel most comfortable working with, to guide your working and to grant you clarity.

-
3
Shuffle the cards while focusing on a question. Continue to shuffle the cards until you feel comfortable that you are focused and pure of intent.
-
4
Dealing from the top, lay out four cards face down from left to right. Flip over each individual card. As you flip the card, examine the card and interpret its meaning. The first card represents the past, the second card represents the present, the third card represents the future and the fourth represents the final outcome of the situation if all things remain constant and unchanged.

You may want to take notes on the reading. Record the questions asked and answers given. Be sure to write down the date and time of the reading. Record any feelings and/or images you have during the reading. Such notes are good to have for reference and come in handy with later readings.

Once you have finished with the reading, cleanse the deck and put it away. Don't forget to thank Spirit for the guidance received.

Tips & Warnings
Always remember that what the cards show is not a permanent outcome. The reading is an interpretation of all influences on the questioner and situation, considering that all things remain the same. You have the power to choose to take a different path which will alter the outcome.
Remember to cleanse the deck before and after each reading.
Do not attempt this or any other working while under the influence of any controlled substance. You want to approach workings such as this with a clear and focused mind.
