Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Microsoft Picture Manager software
- Picture files that need resized

Step 1
Open the folder where the pictures in need of resizing are located. Once open, find one picture you want to resize, right-click on the image and then select "open with" and "choose default program." You need to do this if Picture Manager isn't your default picture editor.

An "open with" window will open and you will need to select Picture Manager. If you want to use Picture Manager for all of your editing, and then make sure you check the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" box. Click "OK" when you are finished.

A separate window for Microsoft Picture Manager will open, with your selected photo appearing on the page. To resize the photo, click "Picture" on the toolbar, then select "Resize." This will open your resize settings.

In "Resize Settings" you have four options for editing the size of your picture. "Original Size" is just that, the original picture size; "Predefined width x height" will allow you to choose one of six pre-set sizes; "Custom width x height" allows you to type in the dimensions you want; and "Percentage of original width x height" allows you to change the percentage amount.

The best options are either the predefined setting or the custom setting. You can choose either and play around with it until you get the size you want. Just remember not to save the picture until you have the sizing correct.
