How to Use Nero DVD Burner

Using Nero DVD burner software is a simple process. You can use Nero 6, Nero 7 or Nero 8 to burn your DVDs. It is a a great way to back up your current movies or download a new movie to add to your collection. For the sake of this example, a Nero 8 burns your DVDs.

Instructions

1. Place a blank CD in your DVD burner.

2. Open your Nero 8 Burning ROM program. After it is installed, it will be in your Start menu. Click on "Start, All Programs, Nero 8" then "Nero Burning ROM." A screen will pop up that says, "New Compilation."

3. Click on "miniDVD." This is on the left hand side. The settings should be correct for what you wish to burn. You may want to change the settings as you see fit.

4. Press the "New" button. On the right hand side is a browse feature. This tool will help you find the DVD you wish to burn.

5. Find the DVD in the browse feature. Once that is located, click on it.

6. Press "Burn" in the tool bar at the top of the screen. Wait for the DVD to completely finish.

7. Check the DVD on your home DVD system or your computer.
