3
Unfold the fabric, then cut slits between the petals without cutting them apart. Apply anti-fraying gel to the edges of each petal to prevent them from raveling (optional).

Stack the flower petal with the largest pieces of fabric on the bottom and the smallest pieces of fabric on the top.

Hot glue the pieces of fabric together in the center.

Tips & Warnings
You can attach a single large flower to a hair clip for a bold floral statement, or make several smaller flowers to cover the clip completely.
To attach artificial flowers to a hair clip or band, pull the flower off the stem, or cut the stem short. Then hot glue the flower to the hair clip or band.
You may want to place a piece of wax paper, cardboard or scrap paper under the glue gun while it’s heated to prevent it from dripping on your work surface.
Use caution when working with scissors and hot glue guns. Unplug the hot glue gun as soon as you’re finished, and let it cool completely in a safe area.
