Making the baking soda air freshener

Fill a new coffee filter with baking soda. The baking soda will absorb odors and moisture, which is why it is often placed in refrigerators and freezers.

Pull the ends of the coffee filter upwards until you have a little pouch, then crimp and tie the end shut with either a twist tie or a small piece of string.

Hang the air freshener up using the remaining part of the twist tie or string.

Tips & Warnings
Check the air freshener every couple of weeks. It should easily last 1 or 2 months
You can also place the air freshener inside shoes, cars, closets, storage rooms, any place that you like!
Check the air freshener every 2 weeks to make sure the baking soda isn't dried out. If it has, replace it with a fresh batch
Use only clean and new coffee filters
Make sure you use baking soda and not baking powder.
Don't use dirty coffee filters! Gross!
