Getting the Most Out of a Cruise

  1. Step 1

Check the schedule: Every day, you should receive a ship schedule in your room. Here, you'll find quite a few exciting activities that you will enjoy. These are helpful on days that you are at sea.

  2. Step 2

Sign up for excursions: While a bit pricey, you should definitely sign up for at least one excursion. Go on a catamaran, or go snorkeling. There are lots of options, and they are almost always worth your time.

  3. Step 3

Visit the casino: While you don't need to gamble away your life savings, most ships have a casino, and as long as you are at sea, the casino will be open.

  4. Step 4

Watch a movie: Newer ships now have movies under the stars. Relax on a lounge chair, sip a drink, and watch a movie on the big screen.

  5. Step 5

See a show: Each night, there will be entertainment. Ships spend good money to bring you top of the line shows, that are almost always worth watching.

  6. Step 6

Be daring with food: You'll have the opportunity to try things like escargots, duck and rabbit. Be brave.

  7. Step 7

Enjoy the nightlife: There are clubs, bars, and many other activities to enjoy at night. Be social, enjoy some drinks, and have fun!
